The volunteer is responsible for forming VSLA groups and training them in business development skills and financial literacy.
You map existing labour market intelligence systems and/or platforms and the partners promoting them to enhance coordination, build synergies and reduce duplication.
You conduct a scoping study and consultative meetings organized at the field level in Busia, Namyingo and Mayuge districts to identify major promoters of various platforms.
You coordinate skills and job matching of the project's actors to ensure that the program's results (outputs – outcomes) are achieved within the set execution deadline.
You facilitate expanding access to employment opportunities and map critical public and private firms/companies with clear potential to employ young people.
You mobilize and train the youth and women groups in VSLA methodology, financial literacy and business skills and link them to BDS service providers, financial institutions and markets.
